SlingPlayer for iPhone App Reviews

The sling of is an excellent device for watching your own cable subscription lineup on the go. It works beautifully!One thing I would highly recommend though is an app for Apple TV

Ive only had the Slingbox and associated app for about a month now, but I plan to use it during an overseas assignment. It has worked great on my iPhone 6, Microsoft Surface Pro, and wifes Surface 4 Pro. I have no qualms about the app this far, except for the guide option. It seems like every time you go to you have scroll/swipe through all of the channels, but they may be an issue with the cable/TV provider. I use DirecTV. Other than that everything works liked I wished it would!

Switched over to sling box from hava /Vulcano units after using those brands for about ten years. I find the are amazing. Especially when paired with a chromecast. They connect quickly and reliably both on and off the local network. I am often connected for days at a time and quality and audio are rarely affected. They each have their own IP address and you can daisy chain them !

One of my favorite apps. Way better than my TV providers app for watching, finding, and learning about new shows. Never lags for me, reliable and great service. I have both the iPad and iPhone versions of this app, each are great in their own way.

I want to see the soccer games when away and this work perfect!!!

solid app, works great streaming near HD quality from my iPhone to Apple TV. if you rely on your phone to answer messages or other tasks this app continues to run uninterrupted while in the background. most streaming apps stop responding when minimized.

I like the iPad version better though, iPhone version is still legit.

Still stops and closes when playing in the background! I also see what other reviewers are saying about the colors in standard mode. Unfortunately... This update was a step backwards. ZERO support!
