SlingPlayer for iPhone App Reviews

Thank you SlingBox for allowing me to see every game I have on my home TV Anywhere I am. I have the interwebs for everything else. I love SlingBox Chaddillac sends his best.

Update: Works perfectly for me in IOS 10. Thank you for this very solid app and the excellent update! Was super before. Now runs even smoother over Wi-Fi or Cellular. Well worth the cost of the Slingbox 500 and the IOS app. Slingbox is very reliable over cellular, especially LTE. Thank You!

We Posted and posted online and forums, never fixed. I called they tried to say the issue was with the chromcast. Ill pay extra just get it to work with the chromcast.

I have used SlingPlayer for about 10 years and I love it. Sometimes a little patience is needed with my connection to the Chromecast dongle but the Slingbox although it had to be replaced once has worked flawlessly. What is there in second place?

Good way to watch football for those of us that work Sundays!!!

The connection keeps skipping in and out even though im connected to the wifi with no problems. Picture gets extremely blurry pretty often. This app has never been that good and you would think by now it would work without a hitch.

Its just not good the updates they give is not what we are looking for. For an example I have to have the phone on on he app in order for airplay on the Apple TV to work which makes no sense. We should have the option where we can lock our phones and still watch tv via airplay

This last update that has been released is way better than the previous version. I couldnt even change the channels on the iPhone without the app force closing. Ever since the update, at least the basic functions are working. I havent used the fast forward, rewind, or play yet; but Im just ecstatic the main functions are now finally working properly.

I paid $15 before the app became free with ad Support. I have always been very happy with it. I dont usually buy apps, but I think it is worth it to be ad free. I love being able to watch TV where ever I may be without restrictions on Pay channels or regional restrictions for sports games. Only one channel can be watched at the same time which includes the TV in the house and the mobile app. Works best if you have a vacation home where nobodys watching the TV so you can watch that channel whereever you might be.

All I get is that my sling box or iPad/iPhone is not connected to the internet. Never had this problem before!! Hows a guy use the restroom without TV?!?!?HELP!!!

If I change the channel now the video is frozen on the screen until I disconnect and reconnect.

Please please make native APPLE TV 4 app. AirPlay was good then. But now we need native app with full 1080p resolutions.

When Im watching sometimes the audio and video will start looping 2 seconds over and over and I was wondering if it was a network issue on my part or was it the app.

I love my SlingPlayer it is awesome I dont miss nothing when Im on the road.

Now anytime I use any of the screen controls the screen freezes and the only solution is to close the entire app and open again. Please fix this issue.

Buffering doesnt exist anymore!! Now there is a BRUTAL looping of the picture and audio 2-5 times before it catches up and moves on. Unbearable.. hopefully this is fixed in the next release in a year since you guys are hideous at releasing updates. Also from 3 updates ago and STILL not fixed!! FAVORITES...Whatever the channel number is its adding an extra first number so Ch 206 is now ch 2206 ch 502 is ch 5502 ch 2 is now 22 so on and so forth. Since they only update the app twice yearly its prob a lost Cause but I navigate thru the favorites so this is quite annoying. PLEASE ADDRESS THIS ISSUE

Airplay is aweful. Basically unusable. Please make an app for the new Apple TV. No excuse now. 09/25/16 update: Cant even switch to HQ now making it impossible to air play. I hate this app.

Sling needs to be faster about updating the apps for new iOS versions

Please fix the TERRIBLE app. This used to be a favorite of mine and is now unusable after the recent update on my iPhone 6 Plus as well as my iPad Air.

Works great, no problems.
