This version has fixed the problem with adding numerical favorites in the mobile version. "Guide "now brings up your favorites list instead of the unreadable Digital box guide. Thanks. Perfect. 5/5

One of my favourite apps right now

The apps is expensive and the remote is far from great like the iPad version. Theres no ease access to recorded programs (list button) which is very basic...

***Update*** Still love this app and use it like crazy, really dont understand the haters. It seems like most of them are complaining about the price point which is maybe fair, its a bit pricey. But if your willing to dish it the dough, the app is absolutely great, i watch hockey games on it with wifi on the go. If your going to baulk at the price, ok, but i dobt think its fair to give it such a low rating given it works great. I have the slingbox classic and this app works with it as of now. For anyone worried about it not working with classic I wouldnt worry, other reviewers have mentioned success as well. This app is really great, love it as much as I do my slingplayer for my pc. If it ever becomes incompatible with my current configuration (classic slingbox)i will not be happy, but Ill probably just upgrade my slingbox. 5 star app for sure ******UPDATE******* I now have the Slingbox 500. The newest version of this app does not work!! Please fix. I used this app for three years without a single problem with my slingbox classic but now the new version of this app will not run properly with the latest and greatest slingbox, the 500! Please fix the app, it works for like 20 seconds and them the feed freezes. Bring the app back to the high performing standard it had before and I will bump the rating back up to five stars. ***Update Works better than ever, 5Stars! This update allows you to use other apps on your phone/iPad while using the slingplayer app to AirPlay to Apple TV. I have been waiting for this feature and am so happy it is finally here. Great work slingbox.

Works awesome on 3G connection using 20 mega bit home connection speed. Even set to the highest quality settings. Using 350 slingbox. Very happy.

Application running well. I notice the Price was reduce, it should be 5.99 compares to other products. Price still to high, also considering they charge extra for iPad version ?

Fantastic investment to have a Slingbox "500 series" along with the rich app features on my iOS phone. But unlike the iOS iPad version the navigation for my remote features is complicated and tedious to use. If I could customize or create my shortcuts it would be perfect. My favourite app for 2013!

You need a solid wi-fi (or data) connection at both ends but, if you do, it works like a charm. I love it...... especially on my new iPhone 6+!!!!

Works well. Never had an issue. It just works!

Only issue is that the guide feature only shows local channels not all channels. Other than that its awesome

Slingplayer in conjunction with SlingTv are easy to connect and install its makes you wonder if you are missing something! I have used it to stream in several locations with little or no problems.

Work great but it would be nice to be able to completly configure and have access to all the setti gs of the slingbox from my iphone i dont have a computer so... There is a few thing i cant access

I dont write reviews but I love this. We have a vacation home and use it there. Works great paired with a Roku or an Apple TV. A 3 second lag for changing channels etc but well worth it. Needs a good hi speed internet connection on both ends.

Only 2 stars because of bad integration with Roku devices: the app cannot see them, even if you try to manually insert the IPs. There are lots of complains on the forum about this subject.

Get 5 seconds buffered and then 5 seconds waiting for the next 5 seconds buffered. I have a 50mbps consumer broadband connection at the source with a 5mbps upload and 25mbps where I am. Not worth watching. Ive wasted my money on the slingbox hardware, more wasted on the this iPhone app, and even more wasted on the iPad app. Save your money, buy something different.
